Making it work

Decide the shape before you start

A good order is ten minutes of warm-up, ten minutes of arguing about harmless things, then one longer game. That stops the night becoming a menu-reading exercise.

Keep the call separate

The games run in a browser tab, not inside your call. If you're apart, keep your voice or video call open beside it so you can actually talk through what you're seeing.

One person handles the room code

Have one person make the room and send the four-letter code or link. The other joins with it. There are no accounts and nothing to install, so this should take less time than choosing a drink.

Stop while it's still moving

You don't have to play everything. If the longer game lands well, end there rather than squeezing in one more small thing because it exists.
